My favorite LA restaurant is Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. Next time I'm out that way, I'll make it a point to try a Tommyburger.
It's my humble contention that the cheeseburger is the quintessentially American meal.
Don't get me wrong, I love apple pie, turkey on Thanksgiving, etc. But nothing says "America" to the world like a cheeseburger. And it's a beautiful thing.

Tell me P.O.E., I have long heard of Roscoe's, but the idea of fried chicken and waffles just doesn't sound that grand. Please describe the Roscoe's experience and don't leave out any of the lascivious details.
I can't believe we are this far in this thread and yet not a picture of Homer Simpson.

But nothing says "America" to the world like a cheeseburger. And it's a beautiful thing. And NOTHING says "Los Angeles" like a Tommy's Chiliburger. I just don't see a Tommy's Chiliburger starting in NY or Chicago or Atlanta. It HAD to be L.A..
