You are correct, there is no documented proof that would be accepted by the masses as the truth; however, you will find the truth in the stories of people who have lived it and struggled or are struggling to get to the other side. Individuals such as myself and former U.S. Representative Robert Bauman: I invite you to read a related article with regard to his story: http://www.fhu.com/roys_articles.html and read the article entitled "Homosexuality: Another example of trauma conditioning.

The relevance to the whole thing is, that by promoting the lifestyle as one that must be embraced or suffer from the self-guilt and torment that go with trying to live a double life, the homosexual movement blinds those who would seek an alternative to THIER alternative. They would rather demoralize and sicken the youth in America in order to feel justified in this choice. I never said it was a choice made on a conscious level however, and that it isn't one of the hardest compulsions to admit to and attempt to conquer. Because it is all that. Taken in that context, not promoting the choice as an alternative lifestyle that is healthy in any way, does not mean that anyone needs to judge these people as anyone less deserving of the right to live thier life as long as it does not tread on mine, or yours, or anyone else that does not wish to promote it. By trying to force homosexual marriage on an America that clearly does not agree with it, some homosexuals are only further isolating all those afflicted with this personal hell, and fueling resentment among those of us who also "just want to be left to live our lives the best way we know how". Everyone on both sides of this issues needs to realize that, like America itself, we are ALL in this together, we all just want to be free to be...to explore the course we are compelled to explore as it is laid out in front of us, and without anyone telling us that we can't do that. Let's show our love for each other as children of God, this is not an ALTERNATIVE lifestyle, but the only one that truly works and moves mountains.

God bless and sustain you, joe. Hang around FR, you're an interesting voice. I don't say I agree with you, but it never hurts to have an honest debate.:)

~~~Just a note: paragraphs and occasional spaces between blocks of text really help eyes! :-)
From my reading, it looks as though homosexuals fall into a continuum - those who had SSAD (Same Sex Attraction Disorder) from early childhood, those who experienced those kinds of attractions from adolescence, often after being molested or seduced, and those who "discovered" they were "gay" later in life, often after marriage and children.
Many of the late bloomers chose the life of homosexuality as a way to express anger and hate, purely as a hedonistic choice since (especially among men) homosexual sexlife is radically promiscuous and often anonymous, among women because the feminist movement has created unnatural family life for 2 generations, and many women are as damaged as the men described in the above article.
One thing has to be remembered: homosexuality focuses on SEX. They often claim stuff like "only a man knows how to pleasure another man" (or woman). By zeroing in solely on the instant gratification of the sex organ, they are like animals in that regard. No doubt homosexual acts cause orgasms (if you can get past the nausea factor), and when moral absolutes are eliminated, there is no rationale for not accept same sex acts as equal to normal sexual relations.
Actually, there's no rationale for not accepting polygamy, bestiality, incest, or necrophilia either.
When peoples' hearts and minds have been (A) damaged by miserable upbringing and (B) indoctrinated by popular culture and now government mandate, and there are no restrictions on sexual behavior anymore, it is a recipe for disaster.
What happened to Rep. Bauman? What's the end of the story?
I just wanted to add a clarification here. While I believe that homosexuals should not be persecuted for being who they believe they are. I do not condone it, and I personally intend to continue resisting my own desires with all the inner strenght that God provides, and I WILL defeat it!
These people need the love that so many of the FR members exude. Don't give them false support, just give them the truth. Those that truly love the truth, will recognize it, but it takes some longer than others. This was not an overnight revelation for me, and it wont be for most others.
It is a battle that has consumed the better part of my life, and I hope in doing so, that I can lead others in the same direction through my example.
God Bless you all and God Bless Free Republic for giving me the opportunity to share my experiences and opinions.
