Clarke said the other night on LKL that he asked to be transferred to cybersecurity after he was disgusted with the Bush admin's approach to terrorism and that they didn't value their chief terrorism person (him).

Larry then asked him if it was true that he asked to be given the deputy asst to Tom Ridge and he said that no, he hadn't asked anyone to give it to him, that instead, he had simply told people that he would be open to taking it. This directly conflicts with what Condoleeza Rice has said - that Clarke came to her and asked her to intercede with Ridge for him (Clarke) to get the job.

If this guy were on the level, he wouldn't be seeking to make a buck off of the atrocity of September 11th. I don't know why some of the families of those killed can't see this.

I think they are libs who voted for Clinton and don't want to admit he, (and therefore, they) are responsible. If I had voted for Clinton, I would be tempted to be doing the weasel worm dance, too. Who would want that on their conscience? To this day there are people in Germany who refuse to admit to Hitler's atrocities.
