Mr. Kerry came careering [I assume they meant 'careening'] down the mountain moments later, a look of intensity on his face, his lanky frame bent low to the ground.

That's what I look like when I ski (except for the lanky part), but then I've done it only three times in my life, and I'll readily admit to looking like a clutz. Lurch would have us believe he's another Jean Claude Killy, when he's really just John Clod Kerry.

John Clod Kerr-ee...Good one!

When I first heard he was going on vacation, I thought "how odd!". This week he clinched the nomination AND it's the first anniversary of the Iraq war. Seems an odd time for his staff to have planned downtime.

When I saw the snowboard pictures, it hit me. They just HAD to get out pictures of their macho guy swishing down the slopes and, hey, the snow was melting!
