Well, well, well, this should make for an interesting game when the Iggies meet the Ball'mer Raisins this season. Do you think that Ray Lewis is going to feel as though he was stabbed in the back by his erstwhile teammate? Oops, I guess that's a poor choice of analogies in this case. Maybe Mr. Lewis will feel as though Mr. Owens is fleeing the scene by stating that he would not be around to play in Ball'mer. Oops, there I go again. Perhaps I should say that Mr. Lewis will feel as though justice has been obstructed by Mr. Owens' refusal to abide by the original trade. I'm sorry, I guess that's another slanderous remark regarding the upstanding Mr. Lewis.
Ol' No. 5 had better not loft any floaters over the middle for Mr. Owens, lest the Iggies' prize offensive acquisition be laid low by one Mr. Raymond Lewis.

Are you serious? Steroids cause mood swings. The kind of mood swings that have gotten Boston fined, banned from practices, benched and traded.
He'll be a great addition to the Dolphins. LOL.

Like I said, if he can help the team, then great.
If he's a distraction, then they only risked a 6th round draft pick and a mediocre player for him.

It's bad news. Now the Eagles have their own Allen Iverson.

It's bad news. Now the Eagles have their own Allen Iverson.
I'll say at first I was 100% against this guy and I never thought it would happen. However, I've kind of come around on it. Leave the talent and ability out of it, that's a given.
Still, he's an amazing competitor and I've never heard of him dogging it in practice, camp, etc. He's supposedly incredibly dedicated to the game (we'll find out for sure soon enough) and that's a major differentiator between him and AI.
The other thing that helped turn me, is that BFA (Big Fat Andy) and Tom Heckert have been shrewd enough with their personel decisions that we've been to the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row and won more games than any other team during that period of time. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong.
If Owl_Eagle were in their spot, would this happen??? No, I wouldn't touch him. But I've also proven it to myself that they know A LOT more about football than I do, so I'll defer to them. I really hope this isn't a panic move and that they know something I don't (obviously they know more about him than we do) and they've got a solid track record.

. I really hope this isn't a panic move and that they know something I don't...Its a panic, PANIC, PANIC, PANIC!!!! move, brought on by the Redskins signing punter Tom Tupa! Heckert and Big Fat Andy (a.k.a. Ron Jeremy) are desperately trying to counter that brilliant move. Seriously, the Owens and Kearse signings seem totally out of character for the normally ultra-conservative Eagles front office, and if Kearse doesn't blow out an ACL brushing his teeth and Owens hasn't created a locker room meltdown because of a perceived slight by McNabb during training camp, then the moves may work and you all could be Super Bowl bound. Each signing has the potential for greatness or blowing up in your face, but who am I to talk, being a rabid Snyderman!
I just hope the fans on philly.com are nice to Terrell, and don't question his sexuality or suggest that he's over the hill and only suiting up for the money!!! ;>)

Perhaps Roy Williams will answer your's (and my) prayers. The Eagle fans, I say this, "he's your problem now. Deal with it"
