That's what I shoulda done! Turns out, he drank two sprites, and ate three bites of chicken. We had a good dinner, but the service was to be desired, and we ended up not even getting the check until 8:35. We had been there since 6:45. Just now getting home. For a Friday, I might not be surpirsed. However, it is Tuesday, and all the tables around us had been served and *new* parties seated and served before we even got the ticket. Think we got forgotten. Needless to say, the server didn't get a great tip.

Sounds like a bit of a disappointing dinner. But, at least you didn't have to cook! And elf-boy isn't going to starve to death. :-)
