According to the Funeral home, the funeral director set it up. He called at 9:00am Sunday and sent a fax of Grandpa's discharge papers to New Orleans to prove eligibilty, and a map of where the cemetery is. The funeral was Wednesday at 1:00pm.

msdrby : that sounds like the correct procedure was followed. However, it could have been something like, the person who handles that is on vacation and the replacement was sick.

The funeral was Wednesday at 1:00pm.It sounds like someone on the other end of the fax should get reamed. Try complaining to your congressbeing, too. It was a raw deal, and a lot of people were hurt.
