The torque wrench was rescued from inside an IBM mainframe being scrapped. It reads in increments of 2.5 inch-pounds, and was used to seat certain water-cooled components to the radiator assemblies. It cost IBM about $300, which is why they switched to a fixed-torque screwdriver-type device, which cost only $100.
