The vet told Dona that he has no idea how long the Kitty has before developing symptoms of a developing problem. Could be a week, could be weeks, or months, who knows? Then he told a story of a dog he had seen today, from which he removed a huge cancerous growth in his mouth and gave him no more than two or three weeks. He saw that dog again today - for an unrelated problem - and it was almost a year ago that he did that surgery. So that's where we are.Kitty is home. He was at first skittish but that didn't last ten minutes. Then for the next hour plus he sat on Dona's lap on the couch seeming to thoroughly enjoy being rubbed and scratched and petted.
