I am glad the kid is safe now.... hopefully the most unstable part of his life is now gone.
Still - this seems like it should have been news. The situation was much more illicit and potentially dangerous than the custody-issue-parental abductions that ~have~ made the news. What makes the news sure is a lottery.

I suspect that in this case the abduction happened so late in the day the news crews probably never got wind of it. We aren't exactly in an area where we've got a lot of hot newshounds. LOL I expect someone would have to actually call the news guys and tell them this was going on for them to get wind of it. I have noticed quite a bit slips through the news cracks in this town. Not quite sure why.
