Ya know. My aunt went up there and took my oldest daughter to all the filming sights. They stayed up at Ft. Collins when they were going to those places but I'm not certain of the exact locations. Aunt Cheryl would draw you detailed maps though! LOL

Cool :) There were some beautiful shots in the opening sequence of that film--although after that Kubrick kind of left the book behind, LOL! The TV version they did later was closer to the book.

Yep, they were beautiful.

And Aunt Cheryl is the kind of movie buff who will fit those little entertaining sequences into any vacation she takes! She's a hugh Stephen King fan, therefore that trip was the highlight of their vacation that year.
