Depends on the subject :) I own a few thousand books on certain subjects I'm interested in, so between that and the Internet I have pretty good access to works on esp. religion and history (my majors), philosophy (my minor), martial arts and Chinese herbalism (one of my jobs), psychology (something I'm interested in writing about), writing and publishing (my career goal), and certain fiction authors like Tolkien. Beyond that I have access to a small-town library system which isn't as good as what a big city or major college would have but allows me general access to a lot of stuff. Why do you ask?--did you have a book to recommend?
When it comes to books, I can end up learning more with a smaller library --- it forces me to go into subjects or authors I wouldn't have if I'd had more choice.

I probably will eventually. But actually I was thinking about music.
BTW if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
