I missed the first four singers. Pink hair girl did pretty good today. She finally belted. Had Matt (big guy) not been flat, he would have been good, but if my uncle had boobs he'd be my aunt.

What the heck was the hobbit thinking? Bad song choice.

Someone please just give LaToya the contract, and let her get started on her debut album. She's beyond ready.

Doesn't look like Camille's getting over her stagefright.

Pink hair girl rocked! I was so pleased to hear her rendition of that song. She even had the country break in her voice. Awesome. The only one of the nite.

I was intrigued during the little dance number how hot Matt looked in his dancin' outfit. It was kind of the Garth Brooks effect: average guy puts on a cowboy hat and "Woah-momma"! He should have worn a hat for his performance. And he should have gone for a better tune- maybe something upbeat by Billy Ray Cyrus or Garth Brooks ("Standing Outside the Fire", perhaps?), or that Tolby Keith (sp??) "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue". He would have done great with the line: "Weeeee'll put a boot in yer a$$, it's the American waaay..." Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler", or "Coward of the County" would been good, too.

Yer right, the Hobbit was bad. Bring back the goofy hairdo. And a better song choice- ugh! See above Kenny Rogers' suggestions. If ya can't sing country, at least sing an entertaining song.

I was expecting John Stevens to break out some Marty Robbins. But he did great with his song selection. Someone needs to give *him* a contract. He won't win the competition, but I'll buy an album by him. Such a great voice.

And yeah, LaToya was plain awesome.
