Sam; well, take a red oak or hickory board, chop or rasp away all extraneous wood, use a cabinet scraper or sharp knife to smooth, and attach a string. :-) Check out Paul Comstock's "the Bent Stick" from the library, it is a pleasant way to whittle away the hours. :-)
