Oh, and here's a photo of our larger 5700 with the standard KISS. The extra length makes all the difference in the world when trying to open the knife one-handed. There is just not enough leverage in the smaller knife, which is still in production. And CRKT makes an even smaller one, suitable mostly for a money clip.

I have no idea why they dropped the very best size of the lineup, but they did.

Well, ya know most of us have really loved *our* knives. God was really in that for us. I'm thinkin' if we can't get 'em then what we do get will serve some purpose God's got in mind as well. Just don't know what our guys are gonna need 'em for over there Winmag.

Not sure that came out right.

I mean. Something may happen where one of our soldiers needs specifically that new knife!

300winmag, I doubt anyone of us here could ever fathom what goes on in the mind of 'the pointy hair executive' that made that call.

Regarding the sheath knife, since the other isn't in the picture anymore and you feel the mid-size isn't satisfactory, it might just be the way to go.

I hope a few others would chime in on it.

btw, if the new HH knife is the sheath model, I reckon I have a place for another HH knife. :-)
