*nods* Makes sense now, when you think about it. C.S. Lewis and Tolkien were close friends, so they finally found a way to represent both of them in the Minstrel of Gondor.

AND, today, I was reading a shortened version of The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe to elf-boy. Just occured to me that the gifts Aslan gave to the children weer extremely similar to the ones Galadriel gave to the fellowship.
