The painting of the green is done, for now. If we need to put on another coat it will have to wait until this one dries completely. I really like the effect of the color we chose. It *does* look like grassy hills beneath a blue sky.

I decided to bug out for the pad, but then decided to swing by Walgreens for supplies. Among other things: Calamine lotion. I'm finally giving up on my bug bites and going for the medical treatment. The itches are driving me nuts.

Honey you still have those bug bites! Last time we talked about it you said they were going away! Does anybody else up there still have bites? It's startin' to sound kinda serious.

I think they would go away, but I keep scratching too much. Soo... a little calamine, maybe some hydrocortizone and maybe I'll leave them alone for long enough to heal up and go away.

Uh-oh. scaredy cat escaped outside. Beardog just chased him back inside ROFL!!! If you can imagine, a cat and dog who get along perfectly well, then the doggy starts chasing the cat up the stairs like it is a rabbit. Kitty just about didn't make the corner, and slam! right into the wall.

The cat has never been all that right anyway. I wonder if it has something to do with all those times he has slammed into the wall in the past. As a kitten, he had trouble putting on the brakes.

Have you not tried calamine or hydrocortisone at all then! When you said "medical treatment" I thought you were near death and going to a doctor. hehehe...

However sweetheart, far be it from me to likely do it, but if they don't go away - perhaps you should consult a physician! I mean, don't you ever run into one at the bar or something. :-)

Did you try painting them with nail polish or something like that to cut off the air to them? That works with chiggers.

Going to Walgreens *is* medical treatment. It's almost like going to doctor, only the lines are shorter and hardly anybody dies there.

If hospitals are so good how come they're always full of sick people? :-)

Walgreens has nail polish. They even have it in the clear variety so you needn't be bothered with explaining the colored variety on your bites. :-)

But, since you've already *been* to the Walgreens, you can save that bit of information in case this part doesn't work.

My cat used to have a problem putting on the brakes like that, especially when he'd try to turn while running over this one rug that was kind of slippery. Then sometimes he'd suddenly run at full speed for no apparent reason. One time in my old apartment when I had a few friends sitting around, he hadn't made an appearance for a few hours, then out of nowhere he charged into the room at full speed, bounced off a couch at the other end of the room like a swimmer making a turn off a wall, and raced back out of the room at top speed again. Then he went and laid back down again--didn't come back in the room, didn't hear him running around anywhere else. Everyone in the room looked at each other like, "What the heck was that all about?", and then started cracking up :)
