Connery will always be bond. sigh

I could tolerate Brosnan too though. I heard they hesitated hiring him because he has too small of hands or something.

I don't watch James Bond movies anymore. The last one I saw was Moonraker and it was so stoopid I never watched another one.

Moonraker is by far the worst Bond of all time. Don't judge the rest of them by that one. They have never topped Goldfinger though. The only Roger Moore movie I like is For Your Eyes Only, which was a turn back towards the older style. It also helps that it has Carol Bouquet, one of the best Bond girls.

On second thought though, Moonraker does have one good line by the villain to his henchman... "Look after Mr. Bond. See that some harm comes to him."

I haven't seen a Bond movie of any kind in a loooooooong time. It's just not the same without Sean.

I somewhat unexpectedly have the day off

Uh... I don't know if that sounds like a good thing or not. But, at least it's worth making it a good thing. :-D

New information concerning the child abduction yesterday. The police stood by with crossed arms watching and allowed the mom to beat the crap outta the woman... When she'd stomped a mudhole in the chick's @$$ the cops asked if she'd gotten it all out of her system and then arrested the kidnapper.

I thought that was awfully decent of those officers!

Of course, the Sean Connery of From Russia With Love and Goldfinger is the gold standard of Bond portrayals. Pierce Brosnan isn't too bad though... better than Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. Moore played him too light, and Dalton too dark.

I still think Bloom will make a better Bond than Moore or Dalton. No one can live up to Sean... and Pierce is the best alternate so far... I'll have to see Bloom... he might land right smack in the middle of the bunch... or he could just be on the bad list.

Thanks all for the condolences on Kitty6

He has had a great life, many cats would have loved to have had such a life... and it isn't over yet.

Nope, not kidding.

I can't imagine that happening with folks back home... but that was the story.... mom has some facial scratches and stuff to indicate she was in a cat fight too.

Yeah, somehow I think the next days may be filled with spoiling and pampering of Kitty6 like he's never had before.

*snif* When my 13 year old border collie got the report similar to the one you just got she feasted for days on all the stuff she wasn't allowed to have the other part of her life. She seemed real happy those days with all the attention and bad-for-her food. She went happy, with only a sigh. :-) ~wipes tear after 12 years even~

ROFL. At least the officers understood...

That is the least the woman deserved. I have very little respect for the father if he doesn't come around and press charges. AND, it may well be the beginning of the end of his marriage if he doesn't get his priorities straight.
