One of the best known voices in motorsport in the United States, Bob Jenkins, as signed a contract with MTV to become their play-by-play announcer for the Spike TV Champ Car races. Dropped unceremoniously from ESPN after over 20 years, it surprised me he has chosen to be with MTV and its highly obscene Spike TV television network. Go figure . . . he will sound SO strange to be on Spike TV and MTV.
