I've heard a bunch of different things and basically have no clue has serious or not he is.

Either way I'll be sending prayers for him

Supposedly he's in critical condition and they can't even operate. I'm surprised I haven't heard anything until now.

All the reorts ive seen suggest that he's in intensive care.

I think anyone in his position would be placed in ICU.
Hard to tell how critical his condition is.

It is an infection of the pancreas due to a gall stone. You cannot live without your pancreas but the infection is so bad now that they cannot operate. Please pray that the infection will end and that the doctors can take care of the problem or just pray for healing. Jim Combey has been sworn in as the acting Attorney General for now.

The President just said that he talked with him last night, and seemed to indicate that he Ashcroft was alright.

He said something about trying to get his pancreas to settle down, but that he was OK.
