My bond with Termite is only $128 a year. If you don't have one, the initial expense can be high, but the annual is usually reasonable.

The bond covers annual inspections and treatments. I mistakenly believed that meant I wouldn't get termites. Now I understand that it is simply insurance for treating an infestation and repairing any damage. (He told me there's no way to avoid an infestation, it's just a matter of luck.)
