This story is more amusing than Monica so far. Hopefully the drip, drip, drip will turn into the usual torrential rain.

This has appeared on FR before (other than the headline?). Did those posters get banned?

According to news reports, Polier describes herself in her Friendster profile as "...just another hot piece of a- with a philosophy degree and a love for old movies. I'm afraid of death, hospitals and insects. I can't spell. I like old people. I want to travel the world reporting on injustices while taking the time to enjoy an umbrella drink when appropriate."
Polier's profile cites her occupation as a "journalist/socialite", and her status as an "Open Marriage". Too rich.

"I like old people."
It can't be her. She didn't say she liked old, wrinkled people ;-)

That was only about half of it. Her boyfriend had some comments about her too. I don't think this story is going anywhere, but I am still curious about what the report about the interview someone did with an ABC affiliate about an affair with Kerry.

Many people assumed this was a prank, but it appears the 'prank' was made May of 2003.

Polier describes herself in her Friendster profile as "...just another hot piece of ***"Just so long as all those years of finishing school weren't wasted, then.

A journalist who can't spell.....sounds like
Kerry's type.

If this is true it kind of makes her cry for sympathy over the hurtful Kerry rumors that much more amusing. I would suppose the self described socialite is relishing in the alleged connection to Kerry and didn't once consider herself to be in a real pickle over the rumors. Heck, what's the point of an open marriage if not for the fun of catch up time.

Alexandra Polier, the women at the center of questions surrounding her involvement with Senator John Kerry, apparently posted a provocative profile on a
dating website.
On Monday, Polier issued a statement through her former employer, the Associated Press, saying that she never had "a relationship" with Senator Kerry.
Last week, Internet muckraker Matt Drudge reported that Democratic Presidential front-runner John Kerry may have had an extramarital affair with an "intern". According to The Drudge Report, former Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark predicted recently that the Kerry campaign would "implode" as a result of an "intern" issue.
