Evolution, by definition, takes millenia. It generally doesn't occur in such a short time frame as the 150 years since photography began to be used. The only time that a substantial change in a species would occur in such a short time span would be in the event of a massive disaster like a volcanic explosion destroying all available fauna, or the Everglades deer mentioned earlier.

However, if you want "proof" that evolution takes place, it would be simple to set up an experiment with a fast breeding species like fruit flies (used in every college biology course). With enough time and generations, you could probably develop fruit flies that eat meat, but it would take years and years. And I wouldn't want new pests at my picnic.

Human Beings. More precisely, Americans in the 21st Century.

The average size of Americans today is much greater than the size of humans 100 years ago. A visit to any museum, or visits by Americans to any third world country, will easily confirm this. This is a clear case of adaptation to evironment (plentiful food supply), suggesting that at least one hypothesis based on Darwin's theory is true.

Please verify, through rigorous scientific method, that the theory put forth in Genesis is the correct one. By this I mean that the order and timing of creation occurred as it says it did in Genesis.

The snake

It has vestigal legs bones that have no function. The legs bones are an artifact of the predecessor species.

This is a joke right? If you're referring to evolutionary biology, there are thousands of sites on the web that have this information. I'm guessing that you really have your own creationist "evilution" that you're trying to work with.

By some coincidence, FR is one of those sites. The link includes evidence supporting evolution as well as creationist and ID sites that are still looking for some shred of scientific foundation. Good luck with that.

crevo resource

Thanks to Junior for compiling this.

Allow me to guide you to one of Thomas Huxley's finest speeches, one originally addressed to a gathering of Norwhich workmen in 1868:

your question is akin to asking which house built in the last 3.2 seconds best represents the late neo-classic georgian style of architecture, only it's more vague.

Your response , i presume, would be something like "Nope- built 5 seconds ago, doesn't count! neener neener neener!"

From a small group of Carp...

|

|

\/

In 1000 A.D. through historical records we know the Chinese got the goldfish

And from those goldfish today we get

 /                               |                               \

/                                |                                  \

                                     /

\

So there you have it, New Colors, Organs and structures all evolved from a carp (Don't tell me goldfish didn't evolve, Go stick a carp in a fish tank and see how long it last)

What do I win!!

I'm sorry but you won't find an intelligent freeper that believes in that nonsence. Intelligent people only believe the truth, not some made up, wacky story about how life began. But keep searching you may stumble upon the truth, it doesn't really take intelligence to find the answer.
