I can not help wondering how many people had that same opportunity to sign "The Letter" but refrained from doing so for those very same reasons you gave.

All the more reason for the need of change in the current system.

Sorry, I cannot access FR at work, so I have to wait until I can log on at home. I visit some ND websites NDNation and UHND and on both sites there wree numerous people like me and far more that work at ND who were, rightfully so, far more concerned about reprisal. Monk is a not a very good leader, and his allies, Fr. Poorman and Lou Nanni in particular are a darn sight worse. I currently have one son at ND and hope the other can get in. Once I get past the admissions deadline, I will become more involved. This is not a good situation down at ND. They are in the "spin" mode right now, when instead, they should be in a "do everything you can to fix this mess" mode.
