The immortality thing that's important to me is that Christ promised to never leave me nor forsake me. And, that where He was, I would be there also, for eternity.
Oh, was that other thread something about some distinction about individuals--I think you asserted something about individuals merging back into God or some such.
I don't get very excited about such hair splitting that's not very central to The Gospel or to what I understand of God's major priorities--even if such hair splitting were to turn out accurate--which I rarely think is likely to be the case.

My point was about the state of the dead, but as it is unrelated to this topic no need to bring the topic up again in detail I suppose. However, I found it interesting that the "secret document" (if true of course) mentioned that humans are spirit connected to the flesh, which is contrary to the "conventional wisdom" that man is flesh with a soul. Hmmmm - quite tangential to the topic at hand.
