That's an interesting site, but not convincing. Of course there are unidentified flying objects. There are things you see in the sky that you can't name or explain. I've seen some pretty strange things near air bases and gunnery ranges. But not everything people see in the air can be an alien spaceship.
I'll keep an open mind about UFOs, but the rest of the mythology -- abductions, probings, experimentations, implants, and a massive government conspiracy to cover them up -- is much harder to believe.
I can only speak for myself and others may disagree, but it does seem to me like people were more willing to believe in UFO or assassination conspiracies five or ten years ago than today.
The miniseries Taken is kind of interesting, though. It's a trashy melodrama and more a chick flick or soap opera than your dad's hard SF, but the mystery does kind of grow on me.
Have you looked on nuforc.org? Look at the thousands of sighting reports, in the words of the sighters, many of whom are pilots and military personnel, professors, police, etc.
A very understandable perspective.
