Hmmmm I was getting my stats from the same site. Perhaps I misread them. But every year the rate of increase is greater. And, I wonder, how many Central American and South American Roman's are still counted by the church though they have left the Roman church and become Pentecostal?

And, I wonder, how many Central American and South American Roman's are still counted by the church though they have left the Roman church and become Pentecostal? That would require a huge demographic shift- Pentecostals would need to be converting not only tens of millions of non-Christian but also tens of millions of Christians every year to even have a chance at becoming the majority denomination of Christianity. The Catholic Church has done a good job in recent years when it comes to expanding in places like China and Africa. I just don't see how Pentecostals could realistically expect to ever catch up in the foreseeable future.
