The asteroids have no gold, that is only on Earth. In any usable quantities. Heavy metals nowhere near surface elsewhere. In THIS SS, at least.

Pretty sure there have been small traces. Many asteroids have iron. Most of the surface of Mars has iron, which is why it has a red color.
