Somehow, I think God has other plans, even for those hapless characters. He did promise to make of Ishmael a great nation. Now what He will do with the stubborn Islamists at some point could be interesting.

And, it is conceivable that a lot of them will end up 'bar-b-q'd.' But I don't think God would use ET's to do it. Volcanoes maybe. Nukes, maybe.

There is some allusion to their being evidence of God's Glory. Civilizations amongst them would only add to that Glory, IMHO.

My impression is that they were not real amused by the Roswell crash but quickly adjusted their technology to account for our embryonic radar mechanisms and then it was on with the program. They didn't make an awful fuss--except in individual cases where we had planes fire on them. They tended to take the planes out as often as not--as well as zip out of sight.

There's the report of a researcher meeting a source at the CIA or NSA or some such.

The researcher had to go through a kind of metal-detector looking thing. But he had the experience that it sort of sifted through his brain like a fine toothed comb. Made him dizzy. The source he was meeting with commented that it effected all of them that way until they got used to it. And then didn't explain it further. I think the researcher hypothesized that it was designed to make sure that individuals passing through did not have alien implants in them.

I find another purpose though in Job where it says we can not know the ordinances of the heavens, ie all of the laws of physics. The more we study the heavens with our greatest minds and tools, the more we learn that there is more we don't know. This is also a sign. It is about the Glory of God who slapped the whole thing together in a day.

Actually, you're right. I've long been concerned about Believers who have God in their minds in soooooo many tidy little boxes that as events unfold in these end times, many will likely have "hearts failing them for fear."

Thankfully, God is big enough to take all such into account and still draw them unto Himself in compassion and power. He is the author and finisher of all our faith who Love Him.

You may have an emotional or some other need for The Bible to follow your own very rigid, predictable, narrow lines of reasoning and construction on reality. That's no reason to assume God's needs parallel your own.

We are to TRUST HIM, abandon ourselves to HIM, NOT to narrow, rigid, constructions on reality--even those derived from personal interpretations of His written Word.

God is using earth, evidently, according to The Bible, as a bootcamp to train those who will rule and reign with Christ over countless ages and countless galaxies.

Actually, there's a Bible verse that seems to indicate life on other planets--at least future life on other planets--how can Abraham's seed literally number as the stars and sand grains of the seas apart from expanding well beyond earth!

I realize the Bible is often symbolic etc. and that such a phrase could be construed as metaphor, hyperbole.

However, in my observation and experience, the Bible is USUALLY LITERALLY TRUE in VIRTUALLY all respects. I think it's just a habit, tendency, part of God's Nature. I will not be surprised at all millenia hence to see that Abraham's seed LITERALLY NUMBER as the stars and grains of sand on the beach.

That's a perfectly logical reason for ET's to be keenly observing earth and that process.

I suspect that the rest of Creation already knows the score and is just waiting for the manifestation of Christ's more overt rule over all and satan being bound and out of the way with all his degrading, troublesome evil.

I doubt we'll need to do much galactic witnessing at all. I think earth is likely to be the main or only locale of theological idiots.
