An audio tape purportedly by Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) and aired on Arab TV on April 15, 2004, offered a truce to Europeans if they withdrew troops from Muslim nations but vowed to continue fighting the United States and Israel. The voice on the tape, which a European security source said appeared to be authentic, also said the March 11 train bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people were retaliation for Spain's role in Iraq (news - web sites), Afghanistan (news - web sites) and with the Palestinians. I'm proud of the Italians. The Albanians should go home --- we don't need troops from Muslim countries on our side unless we want to be betrayed.
