I think they let her go home tonight. I'll call in a few minutes. So far I just know what I heard on my answering machine from my other sister. The line's been busy when I tried to call back.

I put in 13 hours today on the movie, and Billy Bob Thornton said, "Hi Sweetheart" to me and patted my arm *LOL*
I go back on Monday - and maybe tomorrow, too. They'll call in the morning to verify that.

Yeah...got a cold. First one in years, and had to work all week with it, plus the weather was miserable up where we were at part of the week. Didn't help. We were in a hotel last night where the heat wasn't working very well, then I I got soaked in freezing rain early this morning. I just took an alkaseltzer plus and I'm going to bed in a few minutes.

Well good morning to you too!

It wasn't until mid 50's that my grandmother traded her OH's for indoor pluming along with a whole new resident and store! On a main highway Gratoit Ave. Roseville Mi.

It was a family adventure for my father and other helped build the new building as well as tear down the old.

My father worked as an Operating Eng during the day and evening & weekends continue to build a 2 bedroom, kitchen, bath, and Utility with store front.

My other grandparent added a room unto the house to bring indoor pluming! My grandfather was a carpenter and did blueprints!

LOL..Will have to agree with Pup..been there, done that.

When I married Al in 1956, his Mom and Dad still used one down in the wood shed. They put their first toilet in the house that year.

Always used a two holer camping every year as a kid.. It made a good hide-out from the boys.. They never guessed that we'd hide out in there..

Did some boating, but didn't take many pics.

Went in the same direction that we went the last time, and it was a little rough for focusing because we never stopped. ;)

One set of my grandparents didn't get indoor plumbing until 1959. One of my little brothers thought kool-aid came out of the pump in the kitchen, as my grandmother always put the kool-aid powder and sugar in a clear glass pitcher and then pumped the water. Grandmother liked the bath tub, but only took a bath and hair wash once a week, as a decent lady should. Granddaddy insisted on leaving the outhouse and continued to use it in the summer. He said he couldn't contemplate life on an indoor throne.

Oooh, i hope you get well soon. I had a cold, started a couple of weeks ago. It hung on, and as of Wednesday turned into a sinus infection. Ugh. Hubby prescribed an antibiotic for me, and it seems to be knocking it out pretty quickly.

Can you believe this? The Conservation department stocked a city park lake with rainbow trout last year. This fisherman just reeled in this one. I never thought I'd see ice fishing here.
