He's also adept at constructing paper airplanes. The man is just so multi-talented. He is the Da Vinci of our time.

Here's Dr. Kent Hovind answer to your question:
This question assumes the oceans were salt water during the flood like they are today. I believe the entire world was largely fresh water. Today about 30% of the rain water washes into the oceans, bringing mineral salts with it. The oceans are getting saltier every day. Todays oceans are about 3.6% salt. Between the salts washing in from ground water and the salts leaching in from subterranean salt domes, the oceans could have gone from fresh water to 3.6% in the 4400 years since the flood. If the earth were billions of years old, the oceans would be much saltier like the Dead Sea or Great Salt Lake.
Many animals have adapted to the slow increase in salinity over the last 4400 years. We now have fresh water crocodiles and salt water crocodiles that are different species but probably had a common ancestor. This is not evolution. It is only variation. Changing from a fresh water croc to a salt-water croc is not a major change compared to what the evolutionists believe. They think it changed from a rock to a croc! That would be a major change!
Several years ago, a man in Minnesota told me that he had two large aquariums in his house, one fresh water and the other salt water. He wondered if he could mix the fish together so he figured out how to slowly raise the salt content in the fresh water aquarium a little each week for 10 years until it was 1.8% salt. At the same time, he was lowering the salt content in the salt water aquarium to 1.8% salt. After 10 years he mixed all the fish together. He told me they adapted fine.
Noah had no problem with drinking water during the flood and the fresh-water/salt-water problem does not exist. Attempting to force the way the world is today onto the questions involving the pre-flood world is a common problem. II Peter 3 says the scoffers of the last days will be willingly ignorant of how God made the heavens and the earth (the original creation), and the flood.

Too bad God didn't give the fish ten years to adapt.
Not that it matters - 1.8% salinity will kill many species of fish dead, no matter how gradually you try to sneak it up on them. Guppies can do it, but angelfish can't survive in water that salty. Period. So I guess we're left to imagine angelfish suddenly appearing out of nowhere sometime in the last four thousand years or so. Along with the other hundreds or thousands of species that also couldn't have survived the flood, of course...

Inability to understand concepts often leads the weak minded to attack it out of fear. Do you have any understanding of literary devices?
You are the "professor" of ignorance.

We ARE in the last days as told to us in Revelation. The bible tells us that the jews would be brought back to the
land. Of course, it also said there would be scoffers about that too.

This is your best argument against the refutation of Kent Hovind's claims? What, when the bad science you present is revealed as the nonsense that it is, you resort to mindless non-sequiturs?

You were the one that brought up "prophecy". I'm waiting for your answer about the billions of years of salt pouring
into the ocean and making it as salty as the Dead Sea.

When did I bring up prophecy?

What answer? I never asked any questions. You, however, ducked the fact that there are a number of fish species that require salinity levels of incompatable ranges, meaning that "every fish" could not survive in the same body of water. You can, however, find a rebuttal of Hovind's idiotic claim that the seas should be loaded with salt
here (note that even intelligent creationists know better than to argue from oceanic salinity). If you don't like the explanation on that page, do have the decency to explain where it goes wrong rather than simply dismissing it out of hand.

Nope, I know how to read.
Not, apparently, very well. Maybe a return to Jr. high English class will be able to impart to you some meager knowledge about literary device.
I have seldom seen a person so vehemently opposed to concepts which they don't even understand. Why do you feel compelled to spew your spittle laced hatred of faith based people when all you have to do if you don't believe is to move along?
What are you afraid of?

You are the most ignorant and arrogant poster I have come across in a long time.
Someone so empty, so bereft of honesty and with such hopelessness is rare to come across. I pity you.

Arrogant. There ya go.You scored 50% , you are both, but have an inability to admit the second.
I'm not the one pretending the world is younger than the fossils in it.
Confusion often goes hand and hand with arrogance and ignorance. Please cite the post that says I believe the world is younger than it's fossils. Or cite any post which would indicate what I think of the bible in any regard other than it uses literary device in many cases. You won't be able to, it never happened.
And I'm certainly not ignorant enough to pretend a book of fiction written by men of questionable motives is a substitute for facing reality.
The reality is you know nothing about the bible, what it means and what litereay device is. By now, you would have looked up what a literary device was if you were of even marginal intelligence. However, the only thing that I have been able to detect about your competence is that the only thing you are truly good at is hate.
Arrogant, ignorant, hateful, and empty is no way to go through life son.

People who just signed up here, probably after being booted repeatedly, should really keep a lower profile on the hate posts if they are to last more than a few weeks.

Do you mean you've only been posting here for a couple of weeks? I have been here for years, I will be here after you are gone. You have been here before, banned and slunk back in, you will be gone again as soon as they track your ip address and boot you again.
In the mean time, I will knock your dimwitted nonsense back in your face where it belongs.
Please cite the bible verse that says the world is a few thousand years old. It's clear you have never read the bible in any meaningful way or you wouldn't give yourself away like that.
You still do not understand literary device so it's impossible for you to understand the bible. You're hateful and admittedly arrogant. I pity you.
I'll pray that someday you will be touched by the spirit and fall to your knees in true torment and beg God for forgiveness for your blasphemy. If you truly mean it, you will be forgiven.
