But strangely, after living here 30 years, I am really starting to miss winter, and especially fall.
My daughter thinks one winter up north would cure me of that, but I'm not so sure. I find winter time to be beautiful and poetic.
Of course central VA, where I grew up, while it has a real winter, has much less of one than upstate New York.
