I've encountered chiggers. Though I never saw 'em. But I've been bitten or whatever by 'em before. In Germany, though. Scared me because of the red lines they made...only thing I knew that caused that was blood poisoning...infection. But they went away eventually. I was told we probably met up with some when mountain biking and didn't know it.

Nope, can't see 'em. You can with a magnifying glass if you catch 'em before they bury their nasty little selves in ya though.
