She's movin' fast, our Lisa, but there is no one at the wheel!
I told her it was not practical to read a standard and understand the breed well enough to pick a puppy.... especially when choosing a puppy for show is a guessing game even for the very experienced. You can't tell whether a puppy is going to have good conformation or not. I said there are more Labradors born every year than any other breed, and that most are not show quality. If she really wants to get into Labs she needs to study it more than a couple minutes on the phone.
She has too many dogs now.
And I didn't feel like it.

Our Lisa. I've known her since the sixth grade and I love her like a [hmm... ok... that's complicated] but really... she's a case study in Random Walk Theory. There are mathematics and logic departments in universities all over the country that could have millions in grants at stake if only they could interview her for a while.
