That reminds me of an item that made the local news last week. The Ohio State Fair was revoking the championships of five heifers because the owners made toupes for them out of animal hair, and glued them on. This was to enhance the appearance of the cows' coats.

While I thought that was hilarious, it reminded me that some show cheating can be abusive and even torture to the animals. I've heard of some kinds of abuse at the big-money Arabian show at Scottsdale that should bring the death penalty for the guilty.
