I was wondering what kind of job your son in law does for the military?

Morning...it snowed last night. Not a LOT, but I'm glad I picked up a new scraper. Old one doesn't work that well for the van...not enough reach.

Finished my omelet (mushrooms, peppers, onions, and horseradish cheddar), so I'm gonna head to work. See ya there!

Well, ya know, I prolly don't have all the information you'd like to have. He was being a platoon sergent in Germany for 3 years and then in Baghdad for 8 months. He just got back in the states and is stationed at Redstone Arsonal now. Doing weapons testing. I'm kinda thinkin' I need to make a trip over there to see just what he gets to do! I think I could really get into watching him work there. He's only 3 years away from retirement so he's looking at this position at Redstone to help him get a civilian job with some defense contractor when he retires.

Incidently, his dad is also retired army. When his dad retired he became a Los Angeles police officer. The dad just recently retired from there also. Tom was thinking of following in his dad's footsteps in that until this Redstone thing came up. I dunno that I think LA would be the greatest place for him to be doing that. And I don't think I want my grandkids growing up there either!

Tom also has twin brothers in the army. One of 'em is still in Iraq. The other is doing recruiting duty somewhere in California right now.
