The funny part was that Gidget was left with my Dad for the Entmoot week... and the chewing/licking thing never happened all that week. It actually healed.

I do think that part of Gidget's neurosis is that it is so ~busy~ here. She is outside all the time warning of every school bus that goes by, delivery trucks and customers at the store, the golden retriever across littlerock road, birds out in the pasture, sirens from the Fire Dept, a cat that walks the FAR fenceline of the pasture in plain view several times a day... She is a dog that has a low threshold for sensory overload.
