Manicure.
2J, tell 'em you just want a regular manicure, no acrylics.
If you want polish tell 'em, or just get a clear cote. Makes 'em shiney.
The French manicure is *usually* done over acrylics. It is the natural nail color on the beds and very white on the ends. The American manicure is natural on the nail bed and a more natural lighter color on the ends. The difference is that French is VEY white on the outgrowing end part and American is a more *real* nail color.
For the pedicure just tell 'em you want a pedicure. They do that like you want. But, wear loose pants cause they will also massage your feet and calves. VEY NICE!
The college cosmetology department here gives the kind of manicures and pedicures you are looking for, you might want to check and see if there is a cosmotology school there and you could get this done more often if you like.
That extra fee for the French manicure or American manicure is in addition to the fee for whatever else is done. It costs extra to have the natural color added. I don't think you want that with a natural manicure because it's colored nail polish they put over acrylics to make the fake stuff look real.

There is a cosmotology school nearby! A friend suggested it and I intend to look in to it. Maybe I could get my hair cut there too? It hasn't been cut in well over a year...maybe almost 2 years.
I would just want an trim...tidy it up a bit. I don't think I want my hair short anymore.
What would reasonable prices be? What can I expect to pay?
