I dunno but I'm glad we're back. Now for a long story...

Hey, you know what? You know how Steve gets free tickets to go see a hockey game with the boys about what? Once a month? Well, if the home team scores during the first part of the game, Taco Bueno gives out these yellow coupons for a free taco! Big taco too, not some dinky thing.

You would not believe! They pass these coupons out like mad and people just toss them on the floor!!!

Time before last, Steve came home with a few extra that he just happened to pick up on the way out. I grilled him abou this and this is how I found that people just toss them down! I told him "Next time, pick up all you can find!" I mean, I rarely spend cash on Taco Bueno when I can get so much more for my money's worth at the grocery store.

He came in this last time after the hockey game with a TON of them! Apparently, after the game was over, he and the boys combed the stadium picking up just handfuls of these coupons!

Steve took some with him to work, to have for his lunch when there isn't left overs...but I got to keep a bunch of them!

The thing is, neither one of the jedis like these tacos! But it's one per customer, so when I go to Taco Bueno, I can get three!

Which is what I did tonight, because my parents brought the boys over some pizza, but there wasn't enough for me too. I didn't want to mess up anything cooking or anything, so I hauled the boys in the car down to Taco Bueno and said "Three tacos please!" LOL

Amazing to me that we get to go to the hockey game free (through Steve's job) AND get an ocassional junkfood meal for free!

Sounds like a swell deal to me!

We got off work early Heh....roads were better at the usual commute time so I cleaned up around here....did everything except the living room.

I'm learning a couple of new tunes...now I'm listenting to the pre-game show and doing the dishes.

We used to go to see the Washington Capitals play (back when their stadium was still in Maryland so it's been a loooong time). But if they scored three goals, everybody would get a coupon for a half gallon of ice cream.

So after the second goal, the crowd would start chanting "ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM!"
