The Clintons definitely have global aspirations. But it also seemed to me earlier in the race like the Kennedys were using Kerry to try to regain the party from the Clintons so they could go global themselves. The Kennedys might be local in themselves, but their Irish mob and union friends have some farflung ties--Bronfman mob, Seagram's, IRA, etc.; and Ted Kennedy's also been supported by Castro's apparatus for a long time. So I'm still trying to figure out exactly where Kerry fits into the Kennedy-Clinton rivalry. I'd be interested in any other thoughts you have on that.
BTW, the check for the knife should be in the mail this week--thanks again for that!
