Heh...so you've "known" some of us for quite a while?

I don't remember noticing the names of individual posters, I just remember cracking up whenever I saw that someone had bumped the thread to the top of the list and it was driving the non-Tolkien FReepers nuts--I was cheering for whoever was doing that :)

Heh...that was back in the days of The Nazgul Republican (FR screenname TNRepublican) and other ancient trolls of renoun. Every so often someone would come in and lambast us for keeping the thread going. At this point I think they've just accepted that we aren't going away. And the forums are divided, of course.

But I was VEY happy to see the return of the "View all forums" feature. I LIKE my news, chat, etc. all lumped together. It's more fun that way!
