Sounds like you like Siameses! :) On the Himalayan, I think mine was either Himalayan or Burmese--he was acquired as a stray, so I had to try to figure out what he was. He had blue eyes like a Himalayan and was colored somewhat like this:

I agree on not removing the claws if possible.

All of mine have purty blue eyes and are seal point.
That one looks like maybe a blue point? Pretty. I'd love to have a blue point someday...though that would be breaking my two cat rule again. Seriously, I think full Siamese probably do best in pairs - they want to play alllll the time, and he just wears Halvah out! Last night he was doing his usual teasing to try to get her to play, and she finally went off on him and smacked him and hissed. Serves him right, I guess, but he just wants to play, poor guy! Permanant kitten-hood...that's Siamese personality.
The main problems I have with removing claws are that a) it's their main form of defense, and b) though most people don't realize it, it's major surgery - they actually remove the first joint of each toe. Amputation - ouch! Lot of potential for infection and who knows what else. Makes me sick just thinking about it. I suppose I'm overreacting, but...eeeeh.
