All the words of the Constitution would remain the same, but there would be general agreement that things are done exactly the opposite of what the Constitution says. "Checks and balances" would break down totally, because all the surviving parties would agree behind closed doors on how to proceed. On paper, both the nazi and the soviet constitutions sounded like noble documents. But everyone knew they were just window dressing for like-minded people who would rule as they damn well pleased.

Agreed.
Now, how do we educate kids about it WM? I'm surprised at the insignificant level of knowledge my students have about government of any form. It's as though government and history weren't being taught them at all. This knowledge base is critical to an individual understanding consequences of elections, legal decisions and enactment of laws.

If they win on this front they'll start using that leverage to push for the other goals the UN wants to impose on the US.
