I've been told that the guys overseas still love to get the homebaked items even if they are old. Right now though it's taking less time for packages to get over there than it was. I would bake and send.... if I didn't detest it so much!
Wish I could get bread there... I like baking it. But, there's no way on that. Would mold.

Yeah...I think the last batch of items I sent to Celeste's BIL in Afghanistan took 10 day...
I'm sending him another, I should be able to get it in the mail in the morning. Duchess pecan pies and oatmeal creme pies...pair of 300winmag's snips and some hand sanitizer wrapped in a baggie.
The guy in Georgia is also getting the snips and Hobbit Hole knife, thus making this a "Hobbit Hole" designated package.
