I liked #1 as the least unrealistic, hated #2, didn't mind #3. "Die Hard" made use of the simple fact that dead bad guys have lots of useful things on them, like weapons, ammo, and intel. Most movies ignore little details like that.
The biggest suspension of disbelief was that while good-guy cops, who in the movies are the only weapons experts outside the military, can out-think and out-shoot trained terrorists with state-of-the-art equipment and tactics.
