In the early 70s I was more into DC, mostly The Flash, the Superman titles, Batman, and the various anthology comics, especially the ones with military themes like Sgt. Rock, Unknown Soldier, and The Losers. In the late 70s and 80s I switched to Marvel in a big way... Iron Man, Fantastic Four, the Spider-man and X-Men titles... uhm, Avengers, Dr. Strange, just about any Marvel superhero title. My favorite independent then was Elfquest. In the 90s I started switching back to DC, and still buy mostly DC with a smattering of Marvel and Indies.
Rose will have to tell you her favorites herself. ;)

I like the DC military comics, too, at least the ones I read (never read The Losers but I like the issues of Sgt. Rock and Unknown Soldier I've read). Of the Marvels you mention that I didn't mention before, I read FF pretty regularly up to about #250, until shortly after Byrne took over, I think; and Dr. Strange and Iron Man and Avengers off and on (I liked the Avengers lineup of around issues #100-175 or so best). Read a few issues of Elfquest as well as the Pini shorts they used to put in the back of Dragon magazine.
