So what channel are y'all watching this Oscar pre-game stuff on? I'm killing time watching Phantom Menace on Fox right now. I usually avoid watching the Oscars, but I've watched the past few for the sake of LotR, so I guess I'll tune into this one. Having the Hobbit Hole to help talk me through it should help! :)

I'll be leaving for work soon, so I'll be oscar-deprived, too. The firewall won't let in any streaming video or audio, so I'll be cubicle-bound, and need narrative from here to get me through.

Especially catty remarks about women's (or men's) dress is always appreciated. I hope our LOTR bunch has picked out some sensible duds for this last appearance together at awards time.
