Penny, I really avoided most of the information about The Passion before it coming out. I knew in my most inner self that God was telling me to see it. But, I have had a lot of trouble even listening to the audio presentations of the Passion that they put on radio on Good Friday. They get pretty graphic in audio sometimes and I have sometimes had to walk away.
I did not know if I would be able to sit through the video graphics. But, it was so well done - inspired - that I was not revolted by the violence though I cried and felt the horror. I don't know what God has in it for anyone else. I just know that if you go with your heart open for Him to give you something He will.
I will be interested in hearing your thoughts. I pray that He touches you as much as He did me. :-)

Thanks for the encouragement. I have been wondering if I will be able to sit through it, but I'm more encouraged as I read everyone's experiences in seeing it.
I am very hopeful about the impact this film may have on the whole country.
