The thing was, it was the same phone that rang twice during the same service! Once, I can see, but twice! And to let it ring a half-dozen times during communion?

Well, it was good to hear from him!
I seem to always forget that the boys don't have any church clothes until the last minute. Just this last week, Matthew grew out of his jeans! I had to go get him another pair!
I gotta go for a bit...they need to get ready for choir. Steve is taking them. I'll check in later.

Hi there! - ecurbh and I are about to start a movie.... We went to a really big lunch after church and I am sleepy. The sermon was about fasting and I didn't even feel a twinge of desire to try it!
To: 2Jedismom
'Course if I turned it off, I'd leave it off. :)
To: JenB
Ah....no, that's not a good thing. Unless the person didn't know how to turn it off, in which case they should have departed the building.
Ah'll be Bahck.

Fasting's ok in its place but you don't strike me as the fasting sort.
Was it the same sermon both times?

Yeah I could tell it was going to be. We didn't stay for the second sermon..... ecurbh was free to go after the music was over at the beginning of the second.
To: HairOfTheDog
I think that happens to most places that have two sermons... it would be boring to hear the same thing twice! Unless it was a really good sermon.

So...was it a paying gig? :)

So, which movie are ya'll watchin' this time?
I've got a little problem with my decoratin'. I lost my hammer. Hate to admit this, but I misplaced one I was usin' to put up pictures in the den about 3 days ago. I figured I'd see it soon so I've been using another one. Now, I've set it someplace I can't see. Now, I've got other hammers still... but 2 in one week that I know are in plain sight.... kinda bugs me! LOL

Its actually only one and a half times. I can leave after the music in the second service... at least, that's how it usually works. He sees you when you're sneakin' out you know...
(Hullo, I am catching up and have to get ready for a pool bored meeting)

Ha! Found the 3 day lost hammer just sitting here freeping and taking a break. (This is of course *after* I started using hammer 3) Leaned back in my chair to stretch, turned my head and it was on the filing cabinet on top of printer ink cartridges.
Flylady I am not.
I will feel really neat and tidy if #2 hammer turns up today!

This show's talkin' about the Spartan mothers and how the early wimmin of America modeled themselves after those wimmin. Too bad that's been lost. I for one can identify with 'em.

Hey Seamus. Howya doin'?
To: Wneighbor
Thanks muchly. Got kinda blindsided about havin' this one here. Had hoped to move it somewheres else, but didn't. That's okay.
Still kinda reelin' from the fact that the former President and Treasurer finally (after I've been beggin' for two years) turned over all the files to me. But that's the treasury stuff too.
All with no explanation. I gotta sort through all this crap and figger it out.
To: Corin Stormhands
Do ya have to sort through it for *this* meetin'? Hope not! But, glad you got the info!
Now that I've got my room about done.... I'm thinkin' of puttin' up some paneling. LOL or something... Don't like the plain white walls. I think OT's realtor struck here before I bought the place. Wondering if this is Woodlawn Bedroom White.
